![]() ![]() Now the reason why it only deserves 4 stars and not 5 is that I kind of disliked the fact that the main characters' history was a bit hard to believe aka not very plausible. It is a lovely story, a whole lot of fun, with a good plot and the ever-recurring theme that is R.L. ![]() Mathewson, but still it ranked very high. Sudden Response was not one of my favorite reads from R.L. ![]() But again, was there really ever any doubt considering she's an awesome author?!! I think not! Mathewson to hurry up and finish Checkmate (all in the name of love!:)) but now I may have to harass her to come out with a second book for this series! Seriously, go read it! Its awesome in the way only the great R.L Mathewson can write a book! I literally just finished it about 2.5 seconds ago, and I kinda want to get back to my Kindle and start it all over again! Yes, its that good. Totally awesome book! Ok So I have no idea how it is I'm just now reading this when I have ABSOFREAKINLUTELY LOVED the other books R.L has written! I mean really, I already knew she was awesome! Now I have to find a better word to describe her! :) This book is hilarious! I seriously loved Eric and Joe! Their relationship was the bestest ever!! It did put me in the mind of Jason and the other Bradfords, which just made it even better cause they are all The Shit! For quite some time now I have been impatiently waiting for Ms. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I got home feeling perked up and so in the third quarter decided to do a workout in the garden and then, feeling full of endorphins, reached out to a few friends to see if anyone was around for an early alfresco dinner. As the second quarter hit I nudged myself back into action and decided to go out on my own, so I went to the park, downloaded an audiobook and spent several blissful hours in the sun with the buzz of life around me. I didn't have plans one Sunday - which in theory is fine - but this was a sunny Sunday and so I spent the first few hours of the day feeling lonely, like I was missing out and wasting the day. Now, previous me would have felt lacklustre for the rest of the day, would have probably ordered an indulgent Deliveroo for lunch, felt sluggish as a result, wasted time going over the perceived humiliation of the meeting and then cancelled drinks in favour of slobbing in front of Netflix, citing “I had a shit day and just don't feel like it,” as my reason for flaking on arrangements.Īnother example, you ask? Sure. ![]() |
